Region is a firmware choice

Changing the Wiki language does not change the robot's firmware. Select a release for the correct model and service region. The current Kconfig offers Domestic (China) and Overseas; Overseas enables the Hey Kira wake-word model and defaults to English.

The official English Wiki directs international users to the international firmware and RIG app. Open Luwu Tools, select English for international firmware, then choose the correct model and release. The Chinese flashing page installs domestic (China) firmware. Do not infer the installed region solely from the robot's screen language.

When switching regions

Record the current model and firmware version. Read the selected release's instructions, install the correct package and complete provisioning with the matching app. Confirm activation and voice interaction before testing movement.

China-service mini-program and dashboard instructions describe that ecosystem; they should not be treated as identical screens in the international app.
