Luwu-OS Quick Start
For the current XGO-lite3, XGO-mini2S, XGO-mini2SW, XGO-Rider2 and XGO-Ranger family. Match this guide to your product, hardware configuration and installed system image. A CM4 or CM5 processor alone does not identify which instructions or image apply.
1. Check the model and power supply
lite3, Rider2 and Ranger use Type-C charging. mini2S and mini2SW use the supplied 8.4 V DC charger. See The XGO Ecosystem for the current specifications.
Place the robot on a flat, stable surface with space to move, and use the startup posture for that model. Quadrupeds start from a folded, prone posture; Rider2 starts reclined and rises to balance; Ranger initializes to its default posture. Keep it still during IMU initialization. 2. Use the four buttons

Individual applications display their own button functions. In the main AI Interaction app, B starts or interrupts conversation; AI Interaction Developer Edition also provides D to start.
3. Connect to Wi-Fi
Open the Wireless Network card with D.
Display a Wi-Fi sharing QR code on your phone and hold it in front of the robot camera. The robot reads the network credentials; you do not need to scan the robot screen for this method.
Alternatively, press D in the network view to scan for networks, select yours with A/B, and enter the password with the on-screen keyboard.
Check the connection indicator. For browser control and coding, connect the phone or computer to the same local network.

5. Choose a first activity
Remote control and live video: Bluetooth control works without Wi-Fi. Video streaming requires the streaming app and a network connection.
AI conversation: use the wake word shown on screen — “Hi Luka” in English and “小陆同学” (Xiao Lu Tong Xue) in Chinese.
Vision demos: Ranger face-follow and gesture motion require wheeled-legged mode. Ball grasping requires a supported arm-equipped model.
Performance and group control: use the connected model’s action set.
Coding: open the complete address shown by the robot in a browser on the same network.
Development and maintenance
Luwu-OS uses a Qt C++ launcher and PySide6 apps. Start with the development guide. For updates or recovery, use Upgrade Guide and the official Luwu-OS Releases. The version offered for your device takes precedence over version numbers in older screenshots.
